  1. Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery (Peoria, IL.)

    First on our list is Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery. Enjoy great food and better beer in an 1889 church turned microbrewery. This brewery is located near the river-front in downtown Peoria, Illinois. Obed and Isaac’s offers indoor and outdoor seating, a beer garden, weekend brunch, and an everyday menu filled with delicious family recipes. Obed & Isaac’s is open 7 days a week and offers an ever-changing brew menu.

  2. Kalona Brewing Company (Kalona, IA)

    Located 30 minutes southwest of Iowa City, Kalona Brewery is an authentic Iowa brewery strategically located in Kalona’s downtown area. The company brews its own beer on site in their fifteen barrel brewing system. They offer both year-round brews and seasonal brews in their comfortable,relaxing atmosphere. The brewery also offers a full-service menu that includes wood-fire pizzas. Kalona Brewing Company is open Wednesday-Sunday.

  3. Backpocket Brewing (Coralville, IA)

    Located in Coralville, Iowa, Backpocket Brewing offers 14 German-inspired handcrafted beers on tap. Backpocket is home to a 30-barrel brewhouse with 18 fermenters. Their taproom offers stone-fired pizza and an outdoor Bier Garden to enjoy. Tours of the production facilities are available upon request. Backpocket Brewing is open 7 days a week.

  4. Contrary Brewing Company (Muscatine, IA)

    Located in Muscatine, Iowa, Contrary Brewing Company offers bold and memorable beer all made locally. Contrary Brewing Co. is known for their small batches, ensuring consistent and quality brews. They offer different kegs every week. Enjoy pints, flights, or growlers of most of their beers. Taste unique flavors like German Chocolate Cake, an imperial brown ale with hints of coconut, chocolate, and caramel. Contrary Brewing Company is open Tuesday-Sunday.

    The last brewery on our list is Jubeck, Dubuque’s first craft brewery. Located in a historic building downtown Dubuque, the brewery offers a welcoming social place filled with exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and vintage tunes. Jubeck Brewery brews their beer with high-quality ingredients and uses local and organic ingredients whenever possible. There is no kitchen, so Jubeck encourages you to bring your own food or order from nearby restaurants.
